The farm and processing facility are nestled between two rivers in the central valley of Costa Rica in a rural community known for its coffee plantations. Geisha coffee beans are grown at high altitudes (above 1500 meters) allowing the beans to slowly grow due to the cooler climate. As they slowly grow, the beans absorb complex sensory notes that fill the cup with vibrancy while maintaining a high quality cup. Hacienda La Minita does a fantastic job caretaking the land and providing these beans with proper nutrients to bring out these amazing flavors. The beans are then artfully light roasted to present a bouquet of complex notes that please the senses.
